Comish - Sunset Ride
~~~
Gradient-shaded, full-background piece for my friends Astanax and DragonRavenStables of DA of their personal characters with their steeds, headed toward the distant castle on a late autumn's evening...
Hmm, full pieces. Love how the characters turned out, but y'know...I really love that distant forest. Makes me want to sit down and try some speedpainting again. When I get a little lull in commissions I'll try some and maybe post one or two, inshallah.
Hmm, horses. ^^ Forgot how much I do love drawing them - planning on doing some more fantasy steeds now, even just for practice/fun.
Also, light sources. X)
Thanks Astanax and Angel! So happy you like! :hugs:
I like these kinds of complex and detailed images, and in my opinion very different from your single character dragons you have drawn, humans, and horses in main detail. I like the travel into the twilight hour and a dragon scout overhead (I guess), the HiHo Silver looking one, and the thesteral looking black one with the dragon like wings and red eyes. I notice that as compared to other images of yours this has not gotten the credit you single characters do, I have this problem to, little to no recognition for works I break my ass over, but the more thrown together, or experimental in form to me gets the praise.
