Some doodles on drawing :cassander42: 's dragon and my own in proportion with each other, and a table on different points comparing feathered avian wings and membranous bat/dragon wings. Hoping to turn those points into a comic format some day.

A few additions on the feather vs. membrane chart: Feathers are actually quite heavy, together with the flight muscles they make up half of the bird's weight. Feathered wings have the advantage of being slotted, which increases lift. Membraneous wings have a far larger control over their shape and enable a higher maneuverability than feathered wings.
