hope he's in peace now

I last spoke with him directly back in 2006 but followed him on here and reading back over his recent journals is heart breaking. Another genuine nice person lost to that horrid condition. Rest in peace dino.

I remember a while back he disappeared from the Internet for a while. I didn't think much of that, I figured he was just busy. When he finally reappeared again we were talking like nothing had changed, until the subject of his art came up. He revealed then that he wasn't able to draw after surgery for his cancer. It landed like a bombshell, I was horrified. There was hope then that they successfully treated it. He was online less and less until finally I didn't speak to him. It was only through FA I found out he had died. I can't understand how he might have felt in those last months. It's like how you said, heartbreaking.

His art was also some of the first I encounter when I got into the furry fandom. It's sad that he won't be around but hopefully his art will live on.

His art introduced so many people to the fandom, myself included. I know quality of life was poor for him at the end, so it was bittersweet to know he was gone.

yeah, he told me the same thing years ago when i first join FA---- God, all those hours of chatting with him on Yahoo Messenger---- hard to believe he's really gone--- now he's in another peaceful place and now longer suffering--- GOD REST HIS SOUL

I cried when I found out he was gone. I didn't know him well, but I remember looking at his art at his table at AC in 2002 or 2003...
Here I am at FC... It's like a family reunion, but a few of us are missing this year.

For some reason I find that very sad, that a person can disappear, and without a fanfare or waling over their loss, they're instead just not there one day.

This is the first I've heard of this. It makes me really sad.

Even after all this time I still miss him and his artwork.
