hahaha. I like to think that for Scyther his wings are more for agility and directional change to maneuver quick turns and aid in jumps and ninja stuff. And for Garchomp... they just don't feel the kamakazie dive at mach speeds thing XD. This is the best Garchomp pic I've ever seen by the way.

I imagine garchomp would have to get a pretty long running start before getting airborne... like a jet plane considering how fast it would need to go to get enough lift from fins with such a low aspect ratio. And thanks, this is my first garchomp pic I've drawn.

I think that's because the initial official art for it looked ugly as hell, and first impressions count for a lot. I remember the first time i saw a garchomp in game... it was the most hideous thing ever... but then they cleaned up the design and made it look sleek later on.

Adding arms to Garchomp makes him more badass, this proves it he could have used arms in the pokemon design thought I still like Garchomp desing by itself and yes when he spread his arms he has the form of a combat airplane, and it said it can plains in the air, fantastic job love your work
