A little info on the species:

Hallowed Hounds are like any canine, and have the complete anatomy of most canid species, except the fact that they have no tails, but a flame in place of where a tail would be. Each Hallowed Hound's tail fire varies in rarity. The ranks of rarity are:

Blue Flame: Common
Orange Flame: Common
Embers/Smoke(Grey) Flame: Uncommon
Purple Flame: Uncommon
Green Flame: Rare
Red Flame: Rare

As far as their masks go, all Hallowed Hounds have them, and they're in somewhat of a skull shape, with a slit of bone for their "eye" area, and a slit down by their nose for their "nostril" area. They don't have any faces as far as I know, and the masks/skulls can't be removed. Hallowed Hounds also have a very long puffy mane that grows around their neck and below their chest; the mane is very fluffy and is usually tipped with the color of their flame(the tail).
