sabotage.cat at Anthrocon two years ago... she works for SCG so she recommended me to them. I worked a few projects here and there for freelance. A little while later they were looking for a full-time graphic designer and I had just graduated, so it worked out perfectly. :)

I'm gonna bust my ass this year to see if I can't get them to approve my portfolio (I feel I need some more polishing before I'd consider myself comfortable). I'd love to do artwork for Wizards or Paizo or any card/game/book company. My most recent goal is to try and get into Spectrum, but I also have about a year for that... haha. :)

Yanno that mock motivational poster with the Star Wars cast rockin' out and the caption of, "Awesome: It's comforting to know that no matter what you do in life it will never be as awesome as this picture."? Well, I think one could safely substitute this painting in place of the Star Wars one and it would be a marked improvement. It's that damn good.
God. When I see your brush strokes I always want to touch them, haha. Your style is so unique and has a wonderful "complex simplicity". The images themselves are intricate in stylized detail, and yet you retain such a simple and balanced composition and expression that it just.. works. :)
