I quit!!!
I always figured as long as I was bringing money in and providing, it didn't matter how bad I felt, it only mattered that I was making money to cover costs. And let's be honest, both company and employee knew that the payment could NEVER cover the amount of time spent working. And I was okay with that too; until I found out I wasn't being paid at all.
Kinda hard to justify working for a company that won't tell you straight up that missing a day means getting doc'd that weeks pay in total (not including commissions, but I didn't make a single one anyways).
Not that it's entirely their fault; but they did say that I get $20 a day provided I show up. I guess I must've missed something, because hey---aren't all companies responsible and caring for the people who work for them?
So the job search begins again, here's this sad little sketch I did as vent art. Now, I can enjoy working on art in earnest again as I search for new employment.

They won't be graded by them, I think they refused. Something about they say they know Al Capone was the founder ¬.¬
Despite the fact that he was born in 1899 and the first BBB was set up in 1912.
It helps to have done a report on him, and to have Google on your phone to look up shit like the BBB's founding date X3

Lawyer minion here. I asked around with some people who've had scuffles with businesses before, and it checks out. If you're just a volunteer working for petty cash ($20 a day is a bullshit paycheck), it's illegal to state otherwise. If you apply to the a company with the idea that you're going to be getting a steady paycheck, they're required by law to tell you exactly how the system works - missed days, sick leave, vacation, and how much you'll miss for any and all days you're not present. You were never in the wrong there.
