After all these years, I think he has such a badass reputation (and quite a few added scars) he pretty much has the pick of any female griffin in the civilized world. ^.^

I keep thinking about his beautyful name. Seems it would sound really nice, any hint about the way it should be pronounced? Is it an invented name or a word of a specific language?

I'm pretty sure I got the name from one of my bird of paradise books, but I'd have to go back and check. I think it's taken from or adapted from part of a scientific name. Inventive character names is not my strong point. If a character has more than two syllables in their name that's a major accomplishment! (of course one of my pet peeves are impossible to pronounce names in SF and fantasy books, so keeping the names simple is also a concious choice on my part.) Investigator Kwaperramusc is refered to as Kwap 99% of the time in the book.
