There's no real earthly counterpart to these critters. Their species is called "Hands," and I guess they're sort of a cross between raccoons and lemurs. They're pretty short-- about 3 feet tall, and can walk or two legs or four. While they're shown here wearing primitive-looking clothing, their species is actually technologically advanced-- they just don't wear fancy clothes because they don't need them. The one on the left is Kinnee, a male, and the one on the right is Tirrsill, a female. There's no real gender difference except males are usually a little taller.
