Did this one the other night, working on a nightshift.
Those of you who know who Terry Pratchett is and his Discworld series, will know who this guy is. And even if you didnt, its pretty damn obvious who this grinning fella is XD
I love Pratchett's work. The Discworld books are amazing; one book has you laughing non stop, others pull your heartstrings when you least expect it. His books have really helped me through lots of nightshifts. At the moment, I've finished the 18th book in the series, I think. I know you dont need to read them in the right order, each book is a stand alone, most of them, but I like reading them in the right order none the less.
Death is my favorite character, Rincewind comes close second. I'm fairly happy with how this turned out, the shading aint too shabby. Though the skull is bugging me just a bit, I feel like I got something wrong, or forgot to draw it there. Maybe its the nose area, I could have done it better.
But yeah, did this piece the other day while on a nightshift and figured I'd post it here, since my gallery section is pretty barren.
You know, it just now occured to me; this is my very first fan art that I have done. Imagine that.
