Name: Medium Grassland Dragon
Lat. name: Inter Draco Planities
Average life span: 100-500 years (some reach 650 years but that is rare) They mature at 50 years
Height: 4 meters
Length: 8 meters
Wing span: 12 meters
Habitat: Open grassland, savannah, leaf forests (never tropical forests)
Food: Rodents, foxes, deer, wolf, fish
Enemies: Bear (rare enemies: lynx and cougar)

1 ) Extra wing claw to hold into the ground in stormy weather

2 ) Front legs are reshaped into smaller wings. Claw is used to hold into prey

3 ) Extra pair of eyes on hind legs to spot prey behind the dragon that are on the gorund. Are protected by a hard lens to avoid being dameage

Mini Bio:
This dragon do have hooves instead of claws as they rarely, if ever, nest on cliffs or in the mountains. Hooves work better on the grasslands and in the forest than tallons.
The large nose horn/growth are used to dig out rodents and foxes and, by males, to battle over females during mating season. Females will guard over the eggs (usualy 2 or 3) in four years before they hatch. During that time the male will feed her.
They build nests out of clay, grass and dragon scales and usualy in forests to get camouflage.
They are an inteligent species that can learn human speech but they can't be kept as pets. As they grow older they get more furious no matter how much you try to tame them.

This was fun to make. I'm not very good at full ref sheets (and it's a first on my new tablet) but I think it came out rather fine. The grey colour is there just because.
