Ive recently been going through hell due to some health issues. Stomach pain, and other complications. Its been going on for about 3 months now, and because of it I've been in a pretty bad place mentally which has brought out a bit of my darker more angry aggressive side. Ive been having to kind of struggle more and more to keep my "dark passenger" in check. The more I thought about this struggle the more it reminded me of the parable of the two wolves at war in every mans heart. Its a fairly silly parable I've heard several times before and basically it goes something like this. “There are two wolves fighting in every mans heart. One wolf is angry and vindictive and wishes to hurt others. The other wolf is peaceful, joyful, compassionate, empathetic, giving and loving. Ultimately the battle of your heart will be won by the wolf you feed the most." So this is kind of an attempt to illustrate my own internal conflict that I've been struggling with. And of course being me, I drew them as a Spider-Wolf and Venom Wolf.
The Spider-Wolf outfit I based on Miles uniform from Ultimate Spider-Man, but I did make a few tweeks to the design in addition to going with a very different color scheme. As for Venom, I kept him fairly close to his comic book counterpart though I did give him my long blue tongue and a slight blue tinting so he would fit my color scheme. For the background I cheated and just Google image searched for a "brick wall" and then added some graffiti based on the Amazing Spider-Man movie logo marketing they did.
Anyways, not my best work I know, but I'm actually pretty damn happy with my Spider-Wolf costume. Lol. Especially the web shooters! *Wags*
