Going through similar. Best friend of a budding close friend basically pulled a power play and told me to stop talking to both her and the friend I was making. :< Kinda makes it hard to be loved when someone's best friend is adamantly working against your presence. :'(

Some people think that cutting off all ties and leaving abruptly is somehow less painful to the other person, when in reality it's not. But unfortunately, it's not until someone else does the same thing to them that they'll realize that.

Or they're just selfish and don't think about how their actions affect others.

Either way, I'm sorry you're going through this.

No real friend would ever just leave you by cutting their ties to you. A real friend would know that is never the answer because it leaves more holes than it could ever fix...

I know losing someone is hard, I've had plenty of them that have left me like you described, but I've been able to find friends who have somehow been able to, if only just a little, fill those holes that the others have left. Don't be sad Falvie, you have so many people who care about you here and they won't leave you like that. The comments in this journal are proof of that.

I actually just went through this pain not even an hour ago. A close friend after years finally decided "you are nothing to me." It's a really painful feeling and I am so sorry that you have gone through that pain.

All these depressing drawings. You open your emotion so freely that I wish there was something humanly-feasible to take away the sadness, hate, and feelings of being lost.

The human race is all too complex. No amount of sympathy can fix the wrongs in the world. How much I am pained to see so. Do not lose those who you want close to you.

Falvie, I really don't know what I could say that someone hasn't already told you, or something I could say that would mean much in a crowd of people, but I just want you to know you're not alone. *hug* People like us are rare...and it's pitiable and depressing that the rest of humanity could do this without thinking of the pain they inflict. If you ever need someone to talk to, sometimes it's best to talk to strangers, actually, because you don't know them well, and you don't know how they could react. They may surprise you with their reactions whereas you know what a friend will say. That being said, if you ever need someone to talk to, please let me know. The drawing is absolutely beautiful, too; perfectly conveys the emotion. I hope things look up for you, I KNOW you can pull through this. You're too strong not to.

Sucks, man. Nice art tho. As a small crit however, I would've tried to blend the text more, it stands out as the centre of interest and doesn't make for very good composition. I know it's just a sketch, but still it probably would have looked better if it was moved lower. Would draw more attention to the artwork rather than the words.
