Background:
Laura is a super energetic, cheerful girl who enjoys teasing Matthew every chance she gets. She really does enjoy his company, and at one point had asked him out (and was only momentarily crushed when she found out he was gay). Her parents are quite vocal and domineering, and Laura learned how to compete with that. Her parents were quite displeased that she would pick a degree other than Law, and Laura's paying her own way through school, though none of her friends know what her job is (though a few have guessed). They just know that she works late nights on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
