Every time I watched the classic cartoon I become incredibly philosophical.... I remember the 90's... it was supposed to be a time where we learned from the stupid mistakes are parents made.
Where flannel shirts & dock martins represented us being free. We were not pretty...we were there. There was a beauty in itself in being grunge... being real... being... in the midst of it all... I remember my favorite character... she was Sarah who changed it to Sara....no "H".... She had a hippy mom & a serial murdering rapist dad... Mr. Gone.
She was humiliated in high school & had super powers being stalked by a giant banana slug.... she didn't beleive in anything but wanted answers.
She was... wise or maybe she just put it out there....& she wanted to be a writer.... I felt her ending was short... it seemed that .... I wanted to know more of her but the writer sent her to the outback.... to be with her father in a pure time.

She ends up being the hero in the second story.

I put in a philosophy quote...something that made me forget the past because.... The past is an anchor...because it makes us all winy bitches... I think it really spoke about Sara....
