Well, with all the barn owl leather feathers/masks I made, it was only a matter of time before I made a pair of leather barn owl wings! Gosh I will never get over just how beautiful barn owl wings are. *dreamy sigh*

These were carved from a bottom layer of 7 oz leather and a top layer of 2 oz leather - I just got a bunch of tooling remnants that are deliciously thin, and just PERFECT for the top feather layer for these pendants! The whole thing is painted with acrylics, varnished, and the chain is sterling silver. This one features a lovely glass bead that compliments the plumage, and a hanging leather feather.

This was a commission, but if anyone is interested in a pair of leather wings of their own, they are $85 (any species, real or imaginary!), plus shipping. Sterling silver is an additional $15.
