I received four coyote skulls in the mail yesterday, this is one of the two that I'm keeping.
He is a pretty young Coyote. A juvenile reaching adulthood I believe, due to the unfused sutures, lack of a saggital crest, and general roundness of all his features. One of his canines is also shorter than the other. But check out those wonderful suture lines along his cranium. Quite beautiful. <3
I’ve named him Yazhi; Navajo for “Little One”.
