Come evening, Earbrella and the Fluffernutterkins ride home through the night sea on the back of the Moon Dragon. It's a gently rocking ride.
Pen drawing of Earbrella and the Fluffernutterkins… and the friendly Crescent Moon Dragon. Not to be confused with the great and terrible Full Moon Dragon or the sleepy and taciturn New Moon Dragon.
Earbrella is a sort-of Totoro/sort of Moomin-creature from the addled depths of my brain. She lived in Valdelluna where she shelters young firebirds and looks after the Fluffernutterkins. These are not her children, but they might as well be.
This is the fourth and final in a series of pen drawings I did for the Further Confusion art show, and the only one that didn't sell. I offered it here for about five minutes and then a very kind soul offered to buy it. I hope it brings her happy dreams!

I really enjoy this series of drawing as it shows such imagination and charm. Perfect for say, a children's book or even a storyboard for a Myazaki like animated feature. I even like your idea of various dragons representing the phases of the moon, which I'd like to see one day. It delighted me to read that the image even brought you some funds and a fan's admiration.
