My second crappy-ass attempt at making dubstep. @_@ I've been exposing myself to dubstep for sometime, to get to know it better.
I'm still surprised by how massively popular this music genre has gotten, spreading out of control, almost like a plague! x_O;; There are now even dubstep remixes of well-known trance tunes, too!
Not sure if I want to finish this track...
Edit: It appears that the embedded player got issues with the diaeresis "ï" in "naïve" within the filename. You may have to download to listen.

I'm not particularly a fan of dubstep since almost everything I hear of it tends to follow the exact same formula, regardless of who makes it. With that being said, I don't hate it either. It's good background music for me since nothing of the genre really stands out or distracts me from what I'm doing.
I realize that music without any repetition would seem random and unorganized, but what if you had multiple tracks overlapping at different lengths, with compatible frequencies? Like a synth-effect starting later than a heavy bass, but on a shorter repeat cycle, so they sync up with each other at multiple moments throughout it? And you could do it with a bunch of other aspects in the music. That way, you could create something really complex, but made of many relatively simple layers, and possibly ignore the typical dubstep formula while still technically being in the genre.
I actually have no clue if anything I said is helpful or even makes sense. I know what I'm trying to say, but my brain doesn't always put my thoughts into the correct words.
I like it, but it could be improved in some way. I guess that's the clearest I can say it.
