LOL, nice :P. I've never worn their padding (I'm purely a DL so I don't aim for babyish prints) but this supports what I've heard about them that they look great but their not near as good as Bambino when it comes to absorbency (aka the primary focus of a diaper ^^; ).
If you are looking at meduim classico bambinos, buying 16 at a time, you pay ~$2.04 per. You buy a case of 48, you pay $1.37 per. You only get cheaper with cushies if you buy a case of 80.
And my personal experience says I always feel I am not getting the full use out of the bambinos because of how big/thick they are, but its not hard to reach the limit of a cushie. I've also not had issues with bambino tapes. But I have found different production runs of these products tend to have different issues. Sometimes there are runs with bad tapes, on both products.

Only Canadian Supplier for Bambino Products...

Min 2.11 per product. Sold out of 6 month supply in 3 weeks due to scalpers that will charge well over $3 per item. Few if any sizes available (Large isnt but no one buys that size. I guess its because people would rather leak then be called a 'fat ass')
Just about every run I've had on the Bambinos, I have had issues with the leg tapes due to my body shape. I'm probably the only infantilist on the planet with the leg tape issue LOL.

Well aside from the declaration issues (its duty free but you have to declare them as an incontinence product) its more to do with how things are shipped internationally.
It helps too that ABU has invested 3/4 of a million dollars in fulfillment infrastructure (and made themselves a second supplier of ABENA and Molicare) in BC whereas Bambino/B4NS has invested in nothing to maintain reasonable domestic inventory.
The calculation for domestic shipping leans heavier on weight then it does volume for international shipping it leans heavier on volume...
In continental Europe for example Fabines are cheaper then Bambinos... This is because many couriers in the EU consider the continent to be a single country with the UK being like Pureto Rico and HI is in the US.

For the north american market only -- for now.
But in Europe and everywhere else their not. We shall see what they do and how long this continues. (much like our old friends at ABU up there :P) If it costs them too much to maintain a line due to the law of diminishing returns they will stop it wither people like it or not.
Remember Abena only gives out vendor specific information, relevant to the supplier in question. That may or may not be the whole story.
I personally don't have faith in it but we will see.

Well yeah. I prefer plastic backed. Cloth-like is nice if I'm putting one on by myself because its easier to adjust the fit with the velcro-type stuff, whereas most of the sticky tape stuff, once its down, it really does a good job of staying down.
And yeah, trying to figure the product out can be tough sometimes. I like the 1-4 descriptor, with a letter for size, but not everywhere labels them as that.

Bwahahaha. This is great. XD
I take Cushies over Bambinos though. I haven't found a brand more comfortable than cushies. I remember I used to try Bambinos... Yeah, they were think, absorbed, but oof, in contrast, they were very suffocating. In addition, the tapes were horrible. They did not stick worth a darn.
In the event that i would use them though they've held up alright. I couldn't see myself flooding it or anything, goodness no, I wouldn't abuse it that way. I haven't compared them to low ends like depends, but a lot of people tell me they're far superior to brands like that.
Suppose diapers aren't a one size fit all type of deal. Cushies are soft... Reaaaaaally comfy. And is kind of why I've been drawn to 'em. ^^;

Hehe. I do mean in the type of aspects as well. Most people like absorbency... I like texture and softness. I find there's a game theory to be had here. If there's a diaper that's softer than cushies, count me in. The only brand I could think of for that is Fabine's, since, well, german engineering and all, but, whew, international costs...
