It's been a really long time since I've been able to use my tablet without experiencing so many seemingly random technical problems. I switched to using SAI, and voila, most of the issues that were preventing me from drawing altogether are gone. I suppose then that my tablet must have been interacting oddly with Photoshop.

I wish I'd thought to do this earlier. This is personal art of my fursona, Dreamy (stylized like a Pokemon Trainer, atypically) and her Growlithe, Firestorm. I'm really pretty happy with this so far and I'm excited to line and color it with SAI when I'm not so busy with my new job.

Any commentary or constructive critique is very much appreciated! This'll be scrapped once I can upload a lined/colored version.

A bunch of different references were used for pose, anatomy, clothing, etc but I did use the main drawing on Growlithe's Bulbapedia page as a hard reference for him since that is not my typical style. ( http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Growlithe_(Pok%C3%A9mon) )
