And because poor Vartan doesn't deserve to be alone (and I was really bored last night), here's another member of the team.
I really enjoyed this. Her original design back in the heyday was simply a water-oriented ibex/capricorn. Now, she's a a merge of character and element. She has gills, but technically doesn't need them, there's coral formation growing around her body, some fins and scales, kelp constantly floating about.... she also happens to attract small fish. Lady of the Lake legend probably had some influence there.
I tried my best in several things - a) drawing an animal that has pearl-like coat and b) trying to merge beauty she possesed before her transformation, yet with the eerie tint of discomfort you get from looking at a corpse, since, well... she's technically dead (yes, I had a blast working out her backstory).

That's actually the closest description I can get on her. Especially considering she drowned to get that facelift (not that she wanted to).
And yes, she is part of something. Next month, me and Nigerfur are starting a project called Semper Fi, which is a team of heroes (not supers though) running around the world, collecting artifacts.
