One of my favorite books as a kid was "The Woman Who Loved Reindeer" by Meredith Ann Pierce, and even though I hardly remember it now, I decided to be nostalgic and draw what I imagined one of the characters, a bright golden caribou, looked like. I got lazy with the fog in the hills in this and decided to make it stylized, I hope it isn't too distracting. Forgive the anatomy mistakes too; I'm not too accustomed to drawing anything in the cervine family, which is a shame because caribou are one of my favorite animals!
