Yeah, I remember when they went one price back in 1982 I believe. Reagan was in the White House. The Evil Empire Loomed on the horizion. The Atari 2600 was still hot stuff, and Macintosh was just an idea in Steve and Woz's head. Ugh!

I remember my parents getting the books of 'universal tickets' from MWR before our trips to Disneyland, combined with some of the mixed books (which, if you bought just the mixed-ticket books, always left you with a surplus of A and B tickets, but the 'good anywhere' tickets were cheaper than the E tickets with the deal that Disneyland gave the military. Almost forty years ago now... which dates me even more.

I remember E-ticket rides but never actually went on one, because I lived in the middle of nowhere and didn't have access to amusement parks.

Oh yeah, I'm old enough to remember "E" ticket rides at Disneyland. :)

I remember those, and I also remember going to Florida and see the place being bulit all that was there at the time was a welcome center and 4 shrubs shaped like Mickey and the gang, man that was another age ago.

I was 6 when Disneyland first opened. I remember lots of stuff not there anymore.
E tickets were the first ones to vanish but you could buy more at any number of ticket stands all trough the park.

I find it funny to go into an airport and see an e-ticket line.

Either I'm reading too much into this now, or I was totally clueless previously. When you say "very physical relationship", I take that to mean, er... "more than friends"? Hmm... if that's the case it adds another level to the whole "friends as sisters" take I was seeing the band as... makes it more interesting.


Also, if she's the "E-ticket ride" (old system) who's the "Fast Pass" (new system).. *grin*
