Farlowella vittata

Diet: These fish are also herbivores, feeding on green and brown algae, and mixed vegetables.

They are very peaceful fish which have been bred in captivity. This ones mine and its a little on the thin side because this was when I first got it. It's chunked up a bit now.

Heh heh - I've kept everything. I just thinned down the herd a few months ago and will be starting with another tank in the next few months. From freshies, to brackish, to salties, reefs. :)
My favorite fish is the German Blue Ram - even have a tattoo of a german blue on my neck. ;)

Heh heh - its easy to get overwhelmed though... still trying to get the electric bill to go down from $450 a month. >.<
I had around 27 fish tanks - and a total of 800 running gallons in the house. They're enjoyable but way too easy to get overwhelmed with.
My best advice unless you want to pay that high of an electric bill, is to pick which fish you want to stick with. Reefs in general are pricey (both fish and cost of running them) - next tank I own is going to be between30-55 gals and just have my beloved rams.
But yeah, done just about everything, koi, goldfish, inverts (fresh and salt), livebearers, community, Malawi, Tanganykan, Victoria, South and Central, brackish conversion, community reef, aggressive salties, apple snails, fiddler crabs.
Mind that I join this group? ;)
