Everything actually went more or less to plan for this. Background did what I intended, character wasn't too big a struggle, though I did muck up a few things. The colouring even went just about as planned, I'm finally learning not to shy away from my dark colours. Things dry much lighter than when you put them down!
The contrast between the character and the background is a bit high, but otherwise it seemed to all go pretty well. I took some liberties with the clothing to make it a smidgen easier, but the things I did seemed to work fairly well.
Hell, maybe I actually will be decent at this drawing thing someday. :P

Dude you gotta be all artsy with the tags and call it a clothing study! Really enjoy the background on this one, I feel it's the best out of the recent ones you done. It blends very well with the shirt and I honestly don't think it's too contrasted. If anything, it's perfectly balanced so it doesn't look like he's sinking into green mist. :D
