Tiranmaster asked me for a gift from me for his friend kiluke of them changing into rabbits, so here it is
Our story starts with two boys, sitting on either side of a tree. It was the end of a long day, neither of them had much to take from it except misery. They both had too many constraints of their lives, safety precautions off the wall, and fun no longer came easily. The forest preserve they used to walk through was condemned, though no one knew why. A couple of sick trees shouldn’t have made the whole area shut to the public.
Both just stared at the sky, half-expecting to see a shooting star to make a wish on. It was a quiet evening inside of the suburbs, and those guys out in space couldn’t be seen yet. The two sighed, and wondered what they were going to do in the very near future. It seemed like their fun was held at the mercy of their “safety.”
“You know what!” shouted one of them “I doubt that some sort of plant disease is going to keep anyone out of there. Its probably something like weak branches, and we will be fine if we don’t climb trees. I can name dozens of other things we can do just in that area.”
“Kiluke, I think you’re right. Stump rot, or whatever the hell is going on in there means nothing to us. Some caution tape means for the plants, not us. But, I think the guards might tell us something else.” said the other
“You, Tiran, need to start thinking outside of the box. We aren’t going to just prance on through the front, where’s your sense of adventure. We can get in from plenty of other places too. Do you remember that drainage pipe a little further down the road. Nothing happens there; it hasn’t flooded in years.” said Kiluke
“I guess, but...” responded Tiran
“But what? Are we going, or are we just going to mope under this tree all day. Come on, Tiran.” beckoned Kiluke
“Fine, Let’s go.”
The two picked each other up from the ground, and ran down the street. There was still some light from the sun which just disappeared over the horizon, but it was primarily the on-turning street lamps. Some bugs had come out, and they were all buzzing around, and pestering the two as they ran. Within a few blocks, they came to see the forest in the distance.
From the looks of it, as they wandered closer, it was in perfect condition, and there seemed to be nothing wrong with the trees. There was no one guarding the entrance, but that didn’t change Kiluke’s plan to go through the drainage pipe. Ironically, Kiluke, the one who just had to go through, was the one nervous about heading through.
Tiran, and his friend, formed a single file line, and pushed their way through the concrete cylinder. It was slightly damp, and swarming with bugs, but it was their “only” way in according to Kiluke. Tiran would sometimes make a smart-alec comment about this decision, but he would always come back with something like “where’s your sense of adventure.”
The two friends popped out of the other end, just above a small stream. The forest was fairly dark from the setting sun, but now the moon was rising over the horizon. There was an absence of animals, but that was probably because of the time. They could barely hear themselves think from all the crickets chirping.
“So, Tiran... how does it feel to finally be back in here. Savor it, because we might be on the road for some time if we got caught.” said Kiluke
“They are not going to try to jail us. Maybe let us off with a warning, and thats it. Breaking into a closed off forest isn’t exactly a felony. Maybe we should be on our guard just in case, though.”
“Yea, Yea. I don’t know about you, but I think we should get to our hangout. Don’t you, Tiran.”
“Oh right, thats the whole reason we came here. I’m right behind you Kiluke.”
Kaluke, and Tiran, energetically ran further into the forest to their favorite spot. Brushing past some of the foliage, and swatting away many bugs from their faces, they pushed on. Not once did they see any signs of sick trees, not that it meant anything right now.
The two came closer to their spot, just as the sun went completely down, and now the moon only shown. The two stopped a minute for a quick breather. Panting, and getting their heart rate back to normal, the two slumped over to the ground. Tiran lay flat on his face, while Kiluke was propped up by the a tree.
“So much for racing all the way there, huh Kiluke.” said Tiran, half muffled from the dirt
“Maybe if I was in better shape, but not now. At least our spot is right over this hill, you catch your breath yet?”
“Give me a second... and... Alright, I’m ready.”
The two took off once again, and headed up the hill. A rather steep incline didn’t stop their determination to get back, and they climbed with ease. They both successfully got to the top of the hill, and gazed down at the rock, they called their spot. It was just a big rock in a fairly large empty space, but otherwise it was just part of the forest. But this time it was different... there was a silhouetted creature laying across their rock.
Kiluke ignores the figure, and runs down the other side of the hill, with Tiran following close behind. Rapidly picking up their feet to stay up, they hurried down the mountain. Tiran couldn’t keep his footing, and stumbled down, while Kiluke just hurried forward. He saw Kiluke leaning over the figure, just as he moved over off his side to get up.
Tiran calmly placed his left foot in front of him, and brought the other leg out. He hoisted himself back to his feet. Tiran turned back around to see that now Kiluke was sitting propped against the other side of the rock, and the figure was standing over him. He was hit by a shower of worriedness, as he ran over to aid his friend.
Not thinking about what might happen to him, he rushed towards the two. He saw Kiluke squirming on the floor, with some dark brown fur over him. His vision returned to the attention of the figure, who was not he Tiran thought he would be: a large black rabbit, standing on its hind legs, was staring him dead in the eyes, and smiling at him.
“Didn’t your mommy tell you not to stay out after dark.” he said with a large grin
Tiran stammered to find his words. This was all new to him, talking to a rabbit, a large one for that matter. Somehow it did that to Kiluke, now nearly completely covered in fur; all but his head had succumbed. Tiran didn’t know what to do about the situation, what could be done. He looked back at the rabbit, still with as big of a smile as ever, and thoughts of horror invaded his mind.
“You should have read the warnings, kiddies, maybe you would have been safe then. It wasn’t very smart of you to come prancing around into my territory tonight, but I was getting a little lonely, your friend fixed that through.”
“Wha...What do you mean by that.” Tiran said as he looked over at Kiluke. Now the fur had began to press up his face, and two large bunny ears had poked out of his head.
“I’m saying that my bite is infectious. I’m also saying that when he’s done, his bite will be infectious too. Doesn’t that sound wonderful?”
Again Tiran looked at Kiluke. He was obviously in pain, and worse than ever, from his bones in his legs shifting, and his skull reshaping into a little rabbit snout. “Wonderful..? How could it be wonderful?”
“How about you ask him yourself....”
Tiran looked back at Kiluke, who now sat on the ground, staring at him with the same eyes as the other rabbit, and doing the same excessive grin too. Before Tiran could react, the former Kiluke jumped at him, and knocked him to the ground. He examined over his body, and found that his leg was a suitable place to bite. “Why don’t you find out yourself, Tiran.” Kiluke said
Tiran screamed when a big rabbit tooth pierced his skin. He looked down but saw no wound, instead, a large patch of fur had already grown out. Now the fur was rapidly spreading, sending jolts of pain down his leg every once in a while. He winced with every spike of pain coming from the incoming fur. By now both his legs were covered with light brown fur, and a small tail had poked out from the base of his spine.
He felt the fur surge up his torso and out his arms. The same fur was everywhere except his ahead. He felt both his hands and feet turn to paws, and his legs painfully reshape themselves. He grunted and winced, until the pain subsided. He saw his body, and how rabbit-like it had become in only a matter of moments
Now the fur was progressing up his face, but this time it was different. It felt more pleasurable as brown fur covered his head, with a white patch around his eye. He felt his human ears sink back into his head, and pop back out, more rabbit-like at the top. He felt his face push forward, and a big rabbit buck-tooth begin to form. His ears flopped backwards as he got up.
“so how do you feel Tiran...” asked Rabbit Kiluke
“Wonderful, Kiluke. Just wonderful.” Tiran responded with a large smile coming over his face.

And so, the two new infectious rabbits went back into the forest together. Their desires for more company grew, and the anticipation for fun increased. Now, the two had more fun than they knew what to do with; it was like they didn’t know how to stop. And that was normal... those kinds of rabbits are eternally happy, overjoyous even. Their smile told it all.
Every now and the, Tiran and Kiluke would find someone standing at the edge of the forest, and welcome them as a friend. Not all of them accepted, but that wasn’t really a problem after they joined them.
But still, no matter how many those rabbits had join them, no one would actually realize that they were the reason the forest was shut off...
