may I ask what program you use to calculate/ draw the pattern?

No programs, just cutting, and building a base structure over the DTD with cardboard, cover with tape and take out the molds to cut the foam, after all put together again all pieces with glue for shoes, and me magic happens *open the arms and suddenly a rainbow appears between the arms*

drown it on water, the foam is detachable from the fur (will be), and the shoe too, the eyes from the head are removable, just fixed by Velcro ®. nothing left to be broken on washing machine (the fur)
the foam is pretty big to fit on washing machine, sadly only wash by hand

I was wondering. How long will the foam last. Won't it start to deteriorate?

Good question, I have some stuff with this foam about 2 years and looks only darkener than the original color, for 'ripped' areas, you can cut out with an sharp blade, uses the removed part as template to cut a new foam to substitute the damaged area. The foam only deteriorates if you let it under the sun, and use something very chemical to clean, keeping it on a dry place, probably will last than the fur.

how are the foam sheets connected? I'd be worried about them separating and pulling apart while walking.

a kind of glue for shoes, very resistant, believe, is easier to rip apart anywhere on foam than the glued zones
