You know, I'm surprised the show never comments on the fact that Twilight Sparkle learned the "little trick", aka hate magic, from just watching Celestia performing it once. Or that she performed it with obvious discomfort the first time (wincing as if in pain, trying to bring forth her negative emotions), but the second time it came completely naturally while she was upset (shooting at that stupid moving door in a second).
And of course it's never mentioned ever again after the end of the episode.
But you know... It's like a drug. Once you tried it... there's no turning back... >:3

Series is such a tease sometimes. So many good potential directions and plot-lines that are either not pursued or cut short. I mean, the Trixie thing and the discord thing should have both been 2-parters, and we definitely had room to do it in, I mean just completely remove the budget for any episode featuring babs seed and it works.
Speaking of Sombra, I was SURE he was coming back, because of how his horn was still there, and how mellow the season opener started out. I think it's going to be same with the dark magic; We'll see it once and despite all the plot potential and foreshadowing, it will never be mentioned again.
