Don't worry, the sea serpent isn't going to hurt the sailor -- she's pretty angry at him, and she wants him to know how much he hurt her, but she'd never intentionally hurt him in return. Well, not much, anyway. Maybe just... scare him a little.

This started out as an angsty doodle to help me vent a while ago, and I liked how it was turning out so I finished it. It's terribly messy and there's all sorts of problems with it, but it was fun to just aimlessly scribble a bunch of waves and sharp teeth and such. Next time maybe I won't be so lazy (note the strategically placed wave in front of the sailboat -- I didn't feel like drawing a human).:D It was also a good excuse to practice using a monochromatic color scheme. Oh, and the bottom jaw is indeed intended to be longer than the top -- I used eels as inspiration there.
