Do you need to modify the pattern for the padding?

All of the pattern making and pad placement needs to be done when the Duct Tape Dummy is made. Use newspaper or stuffing to create "fake" padding, or use foam if you have already made the padding somehow.

If you have already made the duct tape dummy but haven't cut it up yet then you can just add padding where you want and duct tape over that area again (cut off the inside tape and use the outside as a pattern).
