FIRST PIC UPLOADED IN 2008 IS....*old Yerf-era pic*!
Yes, I hate you folks, too.
Ursa's an old character inspired not by DnD per se, but by one of the arcade games based on it. At the time I first made her she was designed solely for the sake of me wanting to make a benevolent-like version of the creature. I even got to RP her once -- in a freeform IRC game, not tabletop.
Remember, *old* pic, which means olld character, which means "don't diss the horrible name, I know it's horrible".
Also note she's not in Fanart. Species is the only thing this gal has in relation to the actual DnD universe, and just barely.

I loved the D&D arcade game, it was so unrelated to the way D&D was actually played then, but it was magnificent for the time.
I heartily advocate any use of such critters, in and out of D&D. There's such a wealth of wonderful imaginary and mythical things that don't get any love in the community aside from dragons and unicorns.
