It's not bad for a start, but for aesthetic purposes you might want to consider further adjusting the proportions. I'd increase the size of the humanoid parts, myself.

Yes - I've got that one..as well as your lovely chakat figure. I was mainly playing around with the two figures to see what I could come up with. I agree that the human torso is a bit undersized. My main aim with this attempt was to see whether or not the junction between the two figures could be made to look roughly correct. (Very roughly :))

Regardless...lovely.

you need to eliminate the feline neck completly, the handpaw shape needs to be changed a little, the human torso needs to be doubled in size to be proportionate, but thatswhy this is a test right? to try and get it right, no one gets it right the first time, not even me, very very good for a first 3d rendering, keep trying and you'll be drawing perfection in no time, keep up the good work
