I moved from California to Alaska to finish my undergrad.

oh nice, always wanted to see alaska. I'm in hawaii but will be moving to florida in some months to finish school.

It's certainly very different from what I'm used to, but I'm liking it. Like this morning, it was dark as night still while I was walking to class and it was snowing. The whole time I was thinking "Wow it's snowing, it's like a winter wonderland!" It's really beautiful. I've also heard once the snow melts this place is very green and the sun doesn't set (even around 23:30). I'd certainly recommend visiting when you have the chance. When else do you ever get to say "Hey, I've been to Alaska!"? Hehe.

Hawaii huh? That's ironic because that's actually the other state I was planning to go to. Sadly my admissions had some issues and so I was turned away but I'm definitely looking at the John A. Burns School of Medicine for grad school. :)

Florida? At least you will be in a similar climate as Hawaii, hehe.

Best of luck to you in school! And when the going gets tough like it is for me right now, just remember to tell yourself "I wanted to do this; I want this!"
