Here's my very first attempt at a fursuit; Pidgeotto from Pokemon. I made him for the annual Cosplay Scotland meet which was first gen pokemon themed. I'm glad to say I won first prize!
He is rough in some areas, I rushed the wings and the tail was made in about 15 minutes. The beak is made from cardboard as he was made on a VERY tight budget. Despite this, it moves beautifully when I speak.
I have worn him a number of times now and I love him to bits. I think he has one more go in him for DoJ Con so I'm saving him for then. When something does eventually happen to the beak (and it will, its already suffering from the dampness cause by my breath despite the paint on it), I'll take him apart and rebuild him with a resin or foam beak. I'll remake the wings too out of a more stretchy material and make the sewing more accurate.
All in all, he's rough, but I LOVE him ^u^
