My friend, Adam Lenz, works in wildlife conservation. He's been attempting to save the swan population in the face of governmental apathy and the destruction of the land in which these beautiful creatures live. His determination to preserve these lives has inspired this piece....and me, personally. I hope to share that inspiration with others.
