The Left Handed Ronin
A supernatural encounter in medieval Japan leads one young warrior onto the path of samurai...
IT'S DONE! I can't believe this story is finally done. It has been in the works a long time. I started this story a year ago January, and picked away at it bit by bit until finally just before New Year's I got it done. Now that it's been edited (thanks so much Frost!), for those of you who opt to read, enjoy!
I'll post the embedded picture a bit later once the person I wrote this for has had a chance to read it. The illustration kinda has spoilers, you see ;)

I really appreciate your kind words Wirewolf! I confess I deferred to Clavell for guidance on some of the nuances of writing about medieval Japan ;) A good chunk of the time spent writing this was shared with reading his enormous (but good!) book. Thank -you- so much for reading the story!
Omg, it took me almost 2 months, but I FINALLY was able to read this! Amazing! I was trying not to cry around the end I was so moved! This has actually inspired me to try and improve my own writing and give my own Kitsune the stories he deserves! He's been on plenty of Adventures in RPs but maybe I should come up with something all my own.. -w-
It's funny how we as artists around the world, whatever our art may be, have such a tendency to undersell our skills and ability. We're like, "Aww, this is crap, nobody'll like this..." or something along those lines but next thing we know, we've got a whole bunch of people telling us otherwise. Admittedly, I haven't really reached that point yet as I haven't really figured out that whole 'getting attention' business, but I'm holding out that someday I might be popular. owo Anyways, yeah, the story was wonderful and I really fell in love with the character of Wakiita. I'm sorta beating myself up over not having read it sooner. It's been sitting around as a tab on my browser for about 2 months now. Next time I write something, maybe you'll tell me what you think if I throw it your way?
