i've been busy with commissions, but occasionally find some old art to post as well... This pic of my character Emma is from way back...maybe 15 years ago? i hadn't finalized her design yet...
i was trying out the style of inking here also, experimenting, which is why it's rough - wasn't intended to be a finished piece...
For those interested in the story Emma is from - it's in progress, not done yet - see other pics of her in my gallery for more info.
i was noodling around with Painter X just after i got it a couple years ago and did this....There were a lot of sloppy bits with paint over-lapping, unfinished etc...so i took a few minutes the other day to fix them bits (been working in pencil and ink for weeks....needed to dive into colour for a few minutes) ...and so...
Should have a couple of the new commission pieces up this week...

Lots more Emma pics further back in my gallery. She and and a wolf shaman named Ash are leads of the main graphic novel i'm working on...story was written about 15 yrs ago....needed to be in the right artistic space to actually do it ( art chops, ability to deal with painful emotions in story between the ex-lovers, etc)...
Nice to see another silver-fur here! (There are quite a few of us...) Dumb question: Are your stories on-line somewhere?

Silver fur? Nope, not an anthro though much of my writing is in the Anthro Universe, I'm a member of The Solar Guard (pre-1960's Sci-Fi TV Show Fan.) And my hair, whats left, is white, not silver (BLEAH!)

Emma and Ash story is still alive and well...been working on thumbnail pages, refining some loose bits in the 2nd chapter (Ash falls under the influence of colonial governor Dellins...suspecting Emma of releasing poison into lake of the coyote tribe that enslaved him...erm....yeah, sort of complicated story...The later chapters story have been finished for years...avoided writing ch2 cuz it's when they most misunderstand each other, bad emotions, and Ash makes some bad decisions with disastrous results...hard to see one's heroes as-it-were go through a sort of hell....
