Hah! I love illustrating novels :D
This scene shows breakfast tea in dragons den. The red one, Raogothcar, invited Deanna and Matthew for the specific, dragons pinecone tea ;)
Deanna wanted to talk with Raogothcar, but she discovers that he invited another dragon - his friend Caraleth, sweet green dragoness ;) As you can see, she's not very happy about it xD

The one thing i always hated that people think of Dragons, is that most people make westerns out as wild beasts living in dank, dark caves.
For me, this would be exactly how they would be like. sure they still prefers caves and hallows, but its there home, and like any homes, it needs decorating and furnishings to make it more lively place to live in, especially when one has guests over.
I would love to see more works with open relation ships between dragon and the two legs, but this one piece will have to do for continue inspiration for a better future for the dragons.

Oh nice dragons and humans getting along to have a spot of tea nice, and I like the way you illustrated this concept, it is cute. I also think the way the female in the image is reacting to the situation is to me the stereo type to how the "average female" thinks of this fandom in general, nice traditional work.

The scene in question is from my novel Conquering Will, which I'm in the process of editing actually. The first book, Invading Will is up and open to everyone. So sorry about that, but I'm going as fast as I can (around work and class). It just doesn't feel right to release a book until it's gone over some fixing.
