I had been sketching some vultures at the zoo, who are in the same enclosure as the Lesser Kudu. Hoofed critters plus vultures sure do make a fun combo! This one was actually done in a cheap mini-sketchbook. My poor markers were being sucked dry, so no more marker in that sketchbook anymore!

My art teacher (who hated the idea of furries because they’re a lot like manga in the sense that they genrally all look the same) always wanted me to create creatures who you wouldn’t think would go together, like this.
Have to say you did a stunning job, it looks awesome and strangely natural.
also, love your icon its adorable
