Hmm, have you ever heard of a game called Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth? Seems like something you might like, it's a pretty awesome dark and creepy survival psychological-horror based on the Cthulhu Mythos, one of the main themes is insanity and it has some pretty unique in-game features that make it even more fun. It's kinda old now (2005) but I'd highly recommend it :3
And I've just suddenly found out that it was published by Bethesda, woo 8D

The Silent hill monsters are a bit more erotic in their disfigurements with demon thingies, while penumbra/amnesia is just disfigured gross things XD
