Well, lions generally tend to have shorter muzzles and smaller ears. Uhm.. my character kinda probably isn't the best reference, since he doesn't look like a traditional lion. XD
That said, I think this looks really really really good. It's cute, and you're totally wrong: it looks like me, easily. You did a great job on it.
