I had a difficult time choosing my first photo to upload so I decided on an aircraft not many people know about. The A-4 Skyhawk is a carrier-based attack jet capable of carrying a wide range of air-to-ground munitions; later models carried AIM-9 Sidewinders for self-defense. It served extensibly during the Vietnam war and is currently active in Isreal and Singapore.

This photo was taken at the Yuma airshow in Arizona (March 2011). This may very well be one of the few air-worthy U.S. Skyhawk left that isn't a target drone.
