This aircraft (named Man O' War) is one of over 140 airworthy Mustangs in the U.S. alone. The P-51D is by far and away the most widely produced variant of the Mustang. Its main armament consisted of six .50 cal machine guns; it could also carry up to 2,000 pounds of bombs while later models could be loaded with 10 rockets. It's faster, more maneuverable, better armed, and greater combat radius than most fighters during the war.
