I'm tired, I'll be brief.
Because I got on the pony craze and drew nothign but them mostly for almost two years, I forgot how to draw dragons. And especially myself.
I drew this to try practice. And it's horrible horrible in ways even many other artists won't see and unless you REALLY want to know how it's horrible I'm not going to go on.
I hate my horns, I hate horns now in general. I draw heads huuuuuugely big, instead of how I used to do them in 2006 or so. I can only draw them from one angle, and badly. All this is due to me not drawing at least once A FREAKING MONTH STUPID KURRA YOU'RE AN IDIOT and drawing just one thing. ponies. Which have now been so ruined and abused by the stupid filth of the internet that I'm sorta glad that it may be ending sometime. I'm serious. I don't mind if you want to unwatch me for that or this, you can do that anytime without any repercussion.
Let me tell you what is wrong. I graduated in digital arts. And oh boy I might as well be saying this, I'll wipe it later. I bucking manned up and actually managed to scrape by graduating in digital arts, as in drawing digitally, that kinda thing, and look where I am. In many ways worse off than I was in 2008 or 2010. I'm leveling DOWN. I'm-- *holds his head* I'm calling it. I think I'm just going to live life small, because I wasted my graduation and I'm never going to get a job in the field that I graduated in. Not a cool job. Not a meaningful one that's as meaningful as the job I have now, which is actually not that great of an impactful one. And it's late atn ight too. But I wasted my education. Good job me. And still for some reason, I want to practice dragons. Anyone have a tutorial on how to draw dragons, but a GOOD tutorial, ESPECIALLY ESPECIALLY VERY VERY VERY MUCH on how to draw horns on creatures? All kinds of horns? If I had real life horns, I'm liable to try ripping them from my skull in frustration now. I'd probably scare myself, but I'd try.

This journal 'Neer made a couple days back is packed with links; mostly to books for it, but it's a start. And as far as wasting the education, I'd say it's faaaaaar too early in your life to say that. I can understand what you're feeling though. Went to vo-tech for HVAC, then went to college for computer programming (not one of my better ideas). I currently install autoglass; bit of a switch from the other two; heh. But despite that, it's all come in handy at some point recently. Art's gonna be the same way. At some point something's gonna come along (especially if you seek it out) and it'll be like, "Hey! I'm qualified for that!", and then there ya go. Only thing is art requires constant practice, but it's not like all your skills are going to completely vanish. Just start slow and you'll be back up to speed in no time.

I'm sorta having a migraine in my legs now that I rarely get anymore, when that's done I'll be able to think and do these. And thanks for the encouragements. Now watch me go make a Pietá without even trying, in my next art.... it never fails. I whine, get frustrated, then make perfect art immediately after, watch, it'll happen. :p. ... ....XD >:|
