Official story: a local TV network needed film footage for an upcoming segment on the Seige of Cincinnati (which took place in the fall of 1862, not the ass-crack of winter), so some of us of McCook's Brigade, which included the 35th Ohio Volunteer Infantry and my great-great-grandfather's 9th "Damned Dutch" (or, "Bloody Dutch") OVI, were insane enough to actually oblige.
