So I was watching the Game Grumps lately and lo and behold during an episode featuring Pokemon Emerald I decided to pick up pokemon Diamond again. Now normally I don't draw the pokemon because many of them are god awful abominations. However I found that I still have some of the love for the game that I had back in the 90s. I found that I was in fact, using a mix of things that were not only not originals, but also not dragons. In particular the outcast of my party, a Luxray, is quite probably even my favorite electric type.

I decided that instead of drawing a carbon-copy anime-style pokemon with odd-ass junk all over it that makes no sense I'd draw a version that best suits my aesthetics. I gave it pointier ears instead of those radar-dish-like things and made the end of the tail an actual star of light rather than some plastic-ass looking hood ornament. Unfortunately being very unfamiliar with drawing felines I rather butchered the not-a-cartoon-outline presentation. Go figure. I also botched the background because my brain is incapable of understanding infinite perspective. YEP THAT MEANS PURPLE SKY.
