The sourpuss of the pussies.
The short-tempered pretty boy.
The mis-trusting cat of the kingdom.
And possibly...the most tender-hearted lion known to man.

Chess is one of few characters that I have kept around from my very early days of discovering FA. In fact, he probably goes all the way back to my Lion King image board days. He reflects my hard-to-trust side, but also shares a little part of myself that has a soft spot and protective instinct for children or other innocents. He may be grumpy, and a little lacking in humor, but he's a good guy at heart.

I sadly just don't get art of him often :c I need to make him a new reference sheet so I can push myself to haha.
