I know you shall hate this one soon enough (if not already), but DAMN is this art impressive.
I mean it!
The detailing, the emotional expression, the colouring! All of it comes together to produce a very fine image.
Would love to know more on this, since the image implies a world which has fallen on warfare and other hard times, which soon leads to the cities falling to dust & ruin.

I think you captured his perspective in art, just the way a writer gets the perspective of a main character. There's a battle going on in the corner, I strain to look at it, but... he's not looking at it, so I can't get a clear sight of it either. He's in his own little world of hurt at this moment, and that dominates the picture. Bravo!
