Shades of H.R. Giger, perhaps...there's another artist I could point out as an influence....European...painted a lot of gory images but for the life of me I cant remember his name.

I just discovered Hieronymous Bosch recently, when someone commented that one of my previous pictures reminded them of his work :O He has some fascinating stuff.

The image is well drawn. And shaded well. I don't really see any mistakes you mentioned ^^

Though that looks quite painful. Ouch.

Very surreal.

I made a lot of the shading too dark, making the anatomy look more pronounced than it should, or strangely distorted. With ink on a wooden board it's kinda difficult to fix mistakes like that though..

Nnngh ow the poor thing, I love how you had the spikes turn to bones then feathers, adn the tail becoming the pipe. Everything like, meshes/flows so well into each other I had to relook to see how it connected. Gotta love how the eye can trick you.

Like I said, you did a great job on it, I think :O ... I really love the scales, and the shading on it. As always you do a splendid job on muscles and anatomy, so that goes without saying, hon *hugs tightly* Don't be so hard on yourself.

Plus, the picture has BURDS! which makes it mighty for that alone ^v^ They are all budgies ;)

looks like easy tote zarathus >.> too bad that tail uh... turns into a pipe :P i sorta see what you mean a little... some of the muscles seem off... one of the arms on the opposing front side looks like it's sorta "scooped" out... but that's probably just me >_> and the back right leg is in front of the tail... i would kinda expect it to run between the legs... but awesome detail as always. you R teh best artist EVAR!!! remember... lots of detail
